Latest alternativa v5 demo Electric Oyster engine

The one on the left is recentry released Alternativa3D milestone tech demo. The one on the right is not so recently released Electric Oyster engine demo, but neverless I enjoy it too much to not include it in this post ;)

That’s pretty much all I have to say, you don’t really need lengthy ramblings about them. Just click, sit back and enjoy the show.

In opposition to some other Flash 3D developers who might not see the real technological advance the alternativa engine has, I say this is truely amazing what they perform today.

There’s no other flash engine (open sourced) which is able to do that nowadays. Much respect to their team.

The example on the right has been around for a very long time. Haven’t the authors of it released anything else? Has anything been built with their engine?

That Electric Oyster is keep private, they just sell their technology. There’s no other demo available, and that’s something which I think is really strange. But anyhow, really nice performance.

    who’s that ‘Electric Oyster’?
their engine is amazing, why just one demo?
the demo is what I am dreaming for years!

Anyone who want an standalone (off-line) vision,
just go to your ‘Temporary Internet Files’ folder, copy the files ‘Main.swf’
and ‘data_lq.bin’ out, save them where you want.(don’t change the name of the second one, keep it ‘data_lq.bin’)
    -play ‘Main.swf’ that’s it!!!
