Forum hacked

Unfortunately, thiking that my host was doing to automatic backup, I haven’t done any myself for a very long time… and guess what, I was wrong, only the blog database was concerned by the backup.
The french company, MediaBox, is actually kindly hosting the website freely ( they are our first and only one sponsors ), told me that the forum database wasn’t concerned by the automatic backup…. just too bad.
So … we just have lost a huge amount of knowledge, all the help provided by Petit, Bruce, etc. is just lost, also your kind contributions.
I guess you can imagine how I am disapointed but … what else ?
Now it is maybe time to think how to provide support for Sandy users : new forum, google group, mailing list … ?

Sad news, but that’s what you get when you use opensource projects that anyone can study to find holes and use them for having a bit of fun destroying (it’s like in Quake).
I would suggest Google code, you have all you need there, just take a look at Tweener.
Sure, but the problem we have with google tools is their non user friendly interface.
We are using google code for the svn, issues report, etc. it really does its job.
For a forum we would expect something a bit more fancy, just wait to see if an other solution comes to us
