Need a little contribution

Hi all,
I continue to develop Sandy, and to test a new feature I need a special MovieClip. This movie must have 360 frames (coming from 360 degrees), and should be a 3D object in rotation around the vertical axis (so one frame per degree).
My idea is to make a nice object modelisation with 3DS (and a rotation animation), and then to export it in a 360 keyframes swf.

I don’t know 3DS, and I’m the worst graphic designer ever :/
So if one of you have a little free time to spend on this .fla or .swf creation it would be great.

To summarize it can be anything (textured object or not) in rotation around its vertical axis, exported in 360 frames (again 1 degree of rotation per frame). No size limit. No complexity shape limit.

This animation will be used in the future Sandy demos, and the author will have his name print on the screen (or a link or anything he wants).
Thanks
Thomas

and I dowload file to import in swift3d and export for 360 degree later.

It will look like this cow

    Hi,
No it’s thomas like thomas PFEIFFER , the Sandy’s developer, me ;)

Yes good idea (even if I can’t actually see the cow swf)!
    Just few precisions :
    > all the frames should have the same dimensions. So you can add a transparent renctangle in the background to do that.
    > In each frame, the picture left up corner MUST be at 0,0 (or the rectangle if you’ve done the previous idea).

I will really appreciate your help with that. I already have one example and I’m waiting another one. If I have one or two more it would be great!
    Thanks

    HI,
here is a very cheap model, with poor lights
    http://www.nicoptere.com/assets/kiroukou/060516.swf

    trying to do better, later.

btw could you specify, a format (W/H) and a ‘view’ I did an ‘orthographic’ (no perspective) front view but it may not be what you want….
do you need lights / shadows or not ?
do you need pic files alone? which format?
animating : can it be any animation or mandatorily a 360 loop?
    thanks and bye

    Hey thanks nicoptère.
In fact this is just for a demo of a new sandy’s feature.
I don’t need something really complicated, something as you did is good enought to show the possibilities, and its all I needed.

After that, after the official release, you can do some more complex things for yourself ;-)
    thanks

    hi,
it is a pleasure to, finally, have helped a bit :)
I’ll definitely send you somethign more complex later ;)
is it not to make a VR object btw?

    keep it up
    bye

Well I won’t say anything sorry. I know teasing is bad (and I think I’m allready doing this too much), and I don’t want anyone be disapointed ;-)
