Sandy isn't intended for Flash Player 6 (Flash MX) or earlier. It requires at least Flash Player 7 (Flash MX 2004 authoring tool)

The following features require Flash Player 8 (Flash 8 or Flash 8 Professional).

• Many of the examples have been saved in Flash 8 format and can't be opened in earlier versions. However, many examples will open in Flash 7 (Flash MX 2004).
• MovieSkin and TextureSkin require Flash Player 8 because they require the Flash 8 BitmapData class and MovieClip.attachBitmap() method. (I doubt they'll work if you export in Flash Player 7 format.)
• Flash 8 or later is needed to support the bitmap caching required for BitmapScreen mode. Flash Player 7, therefore, supports only the ClipScreen screen mode, not BitmapScreen mode.

If you get errors when compiling in Flash MX 2004, try using Flash 8 or later. See compiler_errors for more information.

Sandy 1.1 and Sandy 1.2 work with ActionScript 2.0.

Sandy 2.0 is designed for ActionScript 2.0 and Flash 8 or later.

Sandy 3.0 is designed for ActionScript 3 (AS3) and Flash 9.

Sandy 3.1 is designed for ActionScript 3 (AS3) and Flash 9 or 10.
